Momentum Acting Studio is led by Liza Michael and Robbie Byrne.
The work reflects their respective training backgrounds and their shared commitment to developing actors capable of fulfilling their potential at a professional level.
Liza Michael
Liza Michael is a French actress, singer, and performer with an international career across stage and live performance contexts.
Her training includes Method-based work and the Alive Technique under Sarah Eigermann, with a focus on imaginative activation and emotional availability grounded in technical structure. She has also trained in Meisner-based work, developing a strong emphasis on listening, responsiveness, and behavioural precision.
Alongside her acting practice, Liza maintains an active performance career in professional stage and hospitality environments, where repeatability, adaptability, and sustained presence are essential.
Within Momentum Acting Studio, her work supports actors in strengthening emotional availability, vocal and behavioural integration, and professional consistency under live and recorded conditions.
Robbie Byrne
Robbie Byrne is an Irish actor and teacher.
He trained in Method-based work in Dublin with Tim McDonnell at The Stanislavski Studio. He later studied with Sarah Eigermann in Paris, whose work evolved from Lee Strasberg’s teaching, and developed a disciplined approach to emotional preparation grounded in imaginative engagement rather than emotional excavation.
In London, Robbie trained extensively in the Meisner Technique at Actors Temple London under Tom Radcliffe and Martin Barter, deepening his focus on outward attention, behavioural responsiveness, and repeatable action. He has also studied Practical Aesthetics, refining his approach to text analysis and playable objectives.
His teaching centres on presence, interaction, and the structural preparation required to remain directable under pressure. The emphasis is on behavioural specificity and the ability to reproduce work across rehearsal and production.
